South London Baseball Alumnus Ranked 83 on
canada's top 100 most influential People in canadian baseball
A report released by the Canadian Baseball Network on December 28th, 2010 ranked Mike Lumley, a former member of the South London Baseball Association, as the 83rd most influential person in Canadian Baseball - Higher than his previous 86th ranking last year.
Mike was a member of South London Baseball in the 1980's and helped to lead our 1987 Junior team (pictured below) through the National Tournament held here in London at Lambatt Park. After his time with South, Mike went onto a larger career in Baseball and was drafted by the Detroit Tigers. Today Mike is coach of the Western Mustangs Baseball Team, Chair of London Badgers Baseball, Vice President of the London and District Baseball Association, and Pitching Trainer at Centre Field Sports. He coaches numerous teams and has recently won OBA championships, Ontario Eiliminations, and the Nationals.
